Appearance of the plant:
- The Dypsis Lutescens, also known as the Areca palm, has long, elegant leaves that are a vibrant yellow-green color. The leaves grow in a fan-like shape and give the plant a tropical look, perfect for indoor and outdoor use.
- This palm does best in a spot with lots of indirect light. It can also tolerate some direct sunlight, but too much can damage the leaves. Ideal for a bright living room or a sunny balcony.
- The Dypsis Lutescens has an average water requirement. Keep the soil evenly moist, but allow the top layer of the potting soil to dry between waterings. Make sure the plant does not get too much water to prevent root rot.
