Description

Plants from the countries around the Mediterranean are very popular with many garden lovers. The appearance and atmosphere of these plants often evoke a holiday feeling. Mediterranean plants place high demands on the potting soil in which they are placed. After all, they grow slowly and often remain in the same pot or tub for a longer period of time. It is therefore important that the potting soil remains airy. In addition, this potting soil contains the right components for optimum water management.

What is this suitable for:
Culvita Mediterranean Potting Soil can be used for palms, olives, figs, citrus-like and other Mediterranean plants.

What not suitable for:
Do not use for acid-loving plants.

Features:
Culvita Mediterranean Potting Soil is a mixture of the best types of peat and coconut fibre to create an optimal growing medium. Clay has been added for better water management. Lime has been added to achieve the correct pH value. Nutrients come from a special NPK fertiliser with trace elements, sufficient nutrition for the first 6 weeks. In addition, organic fertilisation has been added for the first six months. RhizoPlus has been added to Culvita Mediterranean Potting Soil.

Although this product contains a fertilizer, it will be necessary to fertilize after a while. This depends on the needs of your plants. RhizoPlus is a mixture of mycorrhiza and other rhizosphere bacteria and fungi. By adding RhizoPlus, the absorption of food and water will start faster and easier. In addition, RhizoPlus promotes the natural balance.

Application

Remove the root ball of the plant from the pot. Remove the loose soil.

It is recommended to place a layer of Culvita Hydro Grains at the bottom of the pot for better drainage.
