Appearance of the plant: Parthenocissus tricuspidata, also known as the three-leaved Virginia creeper, has striking, palmate leaves that usually consist of three lobed parts. In the summer the leaves are green, but in the fall they change to a beautiful red-purple color The plant can attach itself to surfaces using small adhesive roots and has no conspicuous flowers, but produces small, blue berries in the fall.

Location: This plant grows best in a sunny to partially shaded location. It can be placed indoors or outdoors, but prefers an outdoor location where it can climb up a wall or other surface. Indoors it needs a lot of light to to grow well.

Water Needs: Parthenocissus tricuspidata needs a moderate amount of water. Make sure the soil remains evenly moist, but not soaked. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
